Twitter/X Video Downloader — No Watermark
Clean downloads. X doesn't watermark — neither do we.
Free · Updated May 2026
If you have downloaded from TikTok or Instagram, you are used to a logo and username burned into the corner of every clip. Twitter and X work differently: the platform does not stamp a watermark onto native video, so a clean download is simply a matter of grabbing the original file.
That is exactly what xfetchy does. We never overlay our own brand, never add an intro card, and never re-encode the footage. The MP4 you save is identical to what the uploader posted — nothing added, nothing covering the picture.
How to use the No-Watermark Downloader
- 1Copy the post link. On X, tap the share icon under the post and choose Copy link — or copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
- 2Paste it into xfetchy. Drop the link into the box above and press Fetch. xfetchy reads the post and finds what it contains.
- 3Download the video. Pick your quality and tap Download — the MP4 saves straight from X to your device.
Does Twitter or X add a watermark?
No. Unlike TikTok and Instagram Reels, X serves the raw video without a platform watermark, so there is nothing to remove in the first place. Be cautious of "watermark remover" sites that re-encode your video to crop a logo that was never there — that only degrades quality. With xfetchy the file is already clean because the source is clean.
Why "watermark remover" sites are worth being cautious of
Since X does not add a watermark, a search for "twitter watermark remover" mostly turns up generic video tools built for TikTok and Reels that got repurposed with Twitter/X in the name for search traffic. That is not necessarily dangerous, but it is a sign to be a little more careful: if a site asks you to log in with your X credentials, install a browser extension, or pay to "unlock" a plain video download, that is well beyond what the task actually requires and worth skipping. A legitimate download of an unwatermarked X video needs nothing more than the post link.
