Twitter/X Spaces Audio Downloader
Save Spaces recordings before they expire.
Free · Updated May 2026
Recorded X Spaces do not stay up forever — hosts can delete them, and X expires some automatically after a window. If there was a conversation you want to keep, downloading the audio is the only way to be sure it survives.
xfetchy takes a link to a recorded Space and saves the audio as an MP3 you can replay offline, archive, or pull a clip from later. No account, no recording software running in the background — just the finished audio.
How to use the Spaces Audio Downloader
- 1Copy the post link. On X, tap the share icon under the post and choose Copy link — or copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
- 2Paste it into xfetchy. Drop the link into the box above and press Fetch. xfetchy reads the post and finds what it contains.
- 3Download the audio. Tap Download and xfetchy extracts the sound as an MP3, ready to play offline.
Live vs recorded Spaces
Recorded Spaces work best: once the host ends the Space and X finishes processing it, the full audio is available to download. A live, in-progress Space can be captured too, but the file will only be complete up to the moment you grab it. For a clean full recording, wait until the Space has ended before fetching.
What if the Space was never recorded?
Recording a Space is the host's choice, not something that happens automatically for every conversation. If a host ends a Space without recording, there is no replay anywhere — not on X, and not through xfetchy or any similar tool, since none of them have access to audio that was never saved in the first place. If you know in advance you will want to keep a Space, the only reliable option is asking the host to record it, or joining and capturing the audio yourself while it is live.
